About IZ

Interzone publishes fiction and non-fiction from all over the planet.

It was founded in 1982 by David Pringle, John Clute, Alan Dorey, Malcolm Edwards, Colin Greenland, Graham Jones, Roz Kaveney, and Simon Ounsley. It was published by TTA Press and edited by Andy Cox from 2004 to 2022. From #294 Interzone is edited and published by Gareth Jelley.

Every issue of Interzone is illustrated with full-colour art. Subscribe to get issues delivered to your door – free shipping, planetwide.

Interzone has an online sister zine, Interzone Digital which is like Interzone, but digital.

Subscribers to Interzone get access to all the exclusive stories published in IZ Digital, along with classic servings of Nick Lowe’s Mutant Popcorn film essays and and an invitation to the IZ Digital Discord server.

Ebook issues can be purchased from Scarlet Ferret and ebook subscriptions can be found at Weightless Books.

You can also get Interzone in your ears and inbox: Interzone Pod is a new show featuring conversations with writers, and the Interzone Newsletter contains updates, short Q&As, art previews, special offers, and more.

If you would like your work to be considered for publication in Interzone, take a look at our submission guidelines. I am very keen to see fiction submissions from all voices, whoever and wherever you are, so please do not self-reject.

Thank you for reading and supporting Interzone.
